Laura is excited about the growth of Pembina Valley Dental and welcomes all new
team members.
Dr. Laura Fletcher is a graduate of the University of Manitoba Dental program in 2007.
Dr. Laura has been practicing dentistry since graduation and has constantly kept pace
with the newest developments in dentistry through continuing education courses.
Through her completion of the Misch Implant Institute Prosthetic and Surgical
programs, Dr. Laura has become highly skilled in placing dental implants. She is
currently studying under Dr. John Kois to remain in the forefront of restorative
dentistry. She is a member of the Winnipeg Progressive Study Club and the Tucker
Gold Study Club.
Dr. Laura came to Winkler in 2010 to practice Dentistry. She found the community so
welcoming that she decided to make Winkler her home. She lives in Winkler with her
husband, two children and two dogs. In her free time, she loves to play with her
children and go equalizing in the Winkler pool.
Dr. Laura is so committed to her existing patients she has decided to take the next
step and is proud to open her very own practice Pembina Valley Dental.
She looks forward to taking the absolute best care of all her loyal patients and of
course her new patients as well.

We are happy to introduce Denturist Burghard Vom
Dorp to the Pembina Valley Dental team. He brings
with him 37 years of dental experience!
A fourth-generation dentist in Cologne Germany for 29
years, Burghard and his family emigrated from
Germany to Canada in 2009 making roots in Reinfeld
Manitoba. He obtained his Denturist Licence in
Manitoba in 2012 and has been working in many
clinics and personal care homes in Southern Manitoba.
I grew up on a farm near Starbuck and am proud to
be working in a rural community. I graduated from
the University of Manitoba in 2023 and completed a
General Practice Residency at the Health Sciences
Centre in Winnipeg, where I gained advanced
experience in comprehensive patient care and
hospital-based dentistry.
I am passionate about providing high-quality,
compassionate dental care in a comfortable and
welcoming environment. I’m excited to be serving
the Winkler and surrounding area and look forward to
building strong connections with patients of all ages.
Jessie started her schooling and career as a Registered Dental Assistant.
She then decided to advance her studies, and pursue Dental Hygiene. She
graduated with High Honors from the Toronto College of Dental Hygiene in
2016. She returned to Manitoba and worked in Winnipeg and Brandon. In
2018, she was excited for the opportunity to join the Pembina Valley Dental team
when we first opened, and be closer to family and serve the community she
grew up in.
She is licensed with the College of Dental Hygienists of Manitoba, and
remains dedicated to staying current with the latest research and trends in
Dental Hygiene, and participates in various continuing education throughout
the year. She is passionate about her profession and is known for her warm
personality and ability to make her patients feel at ease.
Jessie lives in Schanzenfeld with her husband and 2 children, and they are
excited to be welcoming a new addition to their family this winter. She
loves spending time with her family and friends, enjoying the outdoors, and
making memories with her kids.
Kari was born and raised in Ontario where she graduated
from Georgian College in 2010 with a diploma of Dental
Hygiene. She and her husband moved to Winkler in 2011 to
start their careers. They now have two children and love
living and working in Winkler. Kari has a passion for
educating patients on oral health and providing excellent
oral care to all of them. She is a registered member of the
CDHM and the CDHA and enjoys participating in continuing
education courses to further her learning and abilities.
In her spare time Kari likes cheering on her kids in many
different sports, volunteering with her local youth group,
golfing and spending time with family and friends.
Minyoung was born in South Korea and moved to
Winnipeg in 2007.
She graduated from the University of Manitoba with a
diploma of dental hygiene in 2014.
She moved to Winkler 2021, and she and her family
love to be here. She is very caring and respectful to
patients and loves to educate people about oral
health. In her spare time, she likes travelling, hanging
out with friends and family and watching movies.
Olga is excited to help the dental clinic grow, and
seeing all of Dr. Laura’s long time patients.
Olga was born in Kazakhstan and immigrated from
Germany to Canada in June 2009. She speaks
English, Russian, and high German. Olga received
her Phase 2 Dental Assistant Diploma in October
2016. She is excited to join the Pembina Valley
Dental Team and help the Clinic grow!
In her free time Olga enjoys spending time with her
three sons, walking, gardening / yard work and
applying eyelash extensions to her own client base.
Marta is originally from Ukraine and has been living in Canada for
over three years. She brings with her extensive experience in
administrative work and currently works as an administrator at
Pembina Valley Dental. Marta truly enjoys working with people —
she takes pride in greeting patients with warmth, creating a
welcoming environment, and helping everyone feel at ease.
She is married and has a son. Outside of work, Marta enjoys
spending quality time with her family, traveling, and reading books.
Hi my name is Anna,
I am 18 + 20 years life experience 😉.
I life in the beautiful village of Hochfeld with my husband and 4 kids.
We have 2 dogs and a few chickens.
2008 I Received my dental assistant license in Germany.
2014 we moved from Germany to Canada.
2023 I started to work for Dr. Laura first as a sterilizer but very quickly I realized that I want to become a licensed professional in Canada 🍁. Currently I am working on my diploma as a dental assistant.

Vanessa was born and raised in Winkler, Manitoba. She met her husband in high school and was married soon after graduation. She has chosen to stay in Winkler and raise her four children in the Pembina Valley. She has a dog that she loves to walk through Winkler parks and the Pembina Valley.
Vanessa graduated from Red River College in 2012 with a level 2 dental assistant diploma. She loves to learn new procedures and skills. She has a passion for doing nails, does this on her days off. She is also a HUGE Disney fan!
Helene completed her Dental Assisting program in Germany in
2001. After 1 year of assisting, she found herself drawn to the
administrative side of dentistry. Now in Winkler, she is a star
receptionist who oversees the schedule for the entire clinic!
